Yes folks, today's Person of the week (tm) is none other than that King of Comedy, Lord of Laughter and altogether passable person, Mr Rowan Atkinson. Now, Rowan is a bit of a megastar these days, and my rules for picking a Person of the week (tm) include not picking any megastars. However, on this occasion, I will relent as I am picking him on merit from his days as a regular stand-up comic (even before not the 9-o clock news and Blackadder). I won't recount any of those fabled scripts, but I do have them all on audio tape and they are Very funny indeed. Should you be lucky enough to come by a selection of his work, I recommend 'A night out in Belfast' as it is his best.
